I have been a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust since 2014 where I have an established practice involving all areas of ENT. Since 2020, I have been the Clinical Lead for the ENT department. My special areas of expertise are in disorders of the ear, hearing and balance. I also have an interest in nasal and sinus conditions.

I qualified from the University of Manchester and completed my ENT specialist training at the Yorkshire Deanery. Following this, I undertook further specialist training in the form of fellowships in Paediatric ENT at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and in Otology & Neurotology with Professor Bance and Professor Morris, Dalhousie University, Canada. I was also awarded TWJ travelling fellowship to the internationally renowned Causse Clinic where I learnt further techniques in middle ear and mastoid surgery. I have also undertaken specific accredited training in endoscopic ear surgery and endoscopic sinus surgery.

I am a keen educator and am very active in teaching and training of medical students and surgical trainees. In recognition of this, in 2017 I was awarded Honorary Senior Lecturer status by the University of Leeds and hold the position of Educational Supervisor to ENT trainees.
